"Tools for Schools" pays off big for Fonda-Fultonville
Ever wonder if registering for Price Chopper's "Tools for
Schools" program is worthwhile? Well wonder no longer! Thanks to
all those who registered, Fonda-Fultonville Central School is
the grand prize winner of a compete electronics center and a PA
system. Fonda-Fultonville earned the prize as the top school
with the greatest tape value earned.
The district will soon receive a flat screen television,
portable CD player, DVD player, video camera, digital camera,
laptop computer, printer, digital card reader, and mobile cart
plus a wireless PA system courtesy of Price Chopper.
The "Tools for Schools" program encouraged AdvantEdge card
holders to enroll either online or through the local school.
Cardholders simply indicated which school they wished to
support. Purchases made between September 14, 2008 and February
14, 2009 then contributed points toward the school's total. An
individual's total points were printed at the bottom the Price
Chopper register receipt and the school totals could be viewed
online at the
Price Chopper "Tools for Schools" report card Web site.
